You can Freeze Red Clover

  1.
    Pick the flowers
Find red clover in your lawn to pick if you do not use any weed killer. Go into a field that you know has not been sprayed with chemicals. Pick the purple colored flowers of the red clover. It is known by other names such as purple clover, trifolium, sweet clover, and cow clover.

  2. Step 2
Dry, freeze, or eat fresh your red clover flowers. Fresh red clover petals are delicious. I snack on them in the summer. Pick extra, place the flowers in a quart-size freezer bag and freeze them. They stay fresh looking so you can use them all winter long.

  3. Step 3
Lay your flowers out on a cookie rack or vented pizza rack to dry. Then place them in a sealed container in a dry dark area like inside your cupboard.

  4. Step 4
    Make fresh hot tea
