Relieves Skin Problems

  • Red bush tea has alpha hydroxy and zinc to soothe many skin irritations, including acne, dermatitis, dandruff, eczema and burns. Zinc helps wounds heal faster and cleanses skin impurities. Alpha hydroxy eliminates skin impurities and gives a more youthful appearance. Drinking red bush tea will help with skin problems, or the tea can be applied directly to the affected area.

  • Soothes Anxiety

  • Red bush tea is caffeine-free and has a calming effect. It helps to soothe anxiety, and relieves stress, irritability, insomnia, depression and other ailments that result from nervousness, anxiety and tension.

  • Relieves Stomach Problems

  • The antioxidant Mentha longifolia in red bush tea is known to soothe stomach problems such as nausea, constipation, vomiting and ulcers. The tea doesn't contain any ingredients that are harmful to babies, so it can be used to relieve colic or cramping in babies and children. It is also safe for nursing mothers.

  • Allergy Relief

  • Red bush tea initially became popular when a woman named Annique Theron from South Africa published her findings about the benefits of red bush tea in a book titled "Allergies: An Amazing Discovery." Red bush tea is particularly helpful for people with hay fever, asthma, hives and other skin irritations.

  • Vitamins and Minerals Strengthen Teeth and Bones
